3RD ANNUAL IEEE SA TELEHEALTH PITCH COMPETITION
Digital Health Innovation Challenge
The IEEE SA Transforming the Telehealth Paradigm Industry Connections Program in collaboration with the IEEE SA Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice invites technologists, engineers, and developers from around the world to submit a pitch on their innovative digital health solutions to complex telehealth or mobile health challenges.
The theme for the 2024 competition is Digital Health Innovation Challenge. The competition welcomes submissions of solutions that seek to enhance patient engagement, streamline healthcare delivery, and improve overall patient outcomes in a value-based care model. The winning innovation will receive a US$2,000 travel stipend to present live at an IEEE Global Technology Conference in 2024 alongside some of the judging panel members, promotion through various IEEE SA mediums and social channels, and other opportunities through appropriate IEEE societies and networks.
Innovations appropriate for this competition include new digital applications, devices, or platforms that focus on improving population health, health care delivery, or clinical trials subject monitoring, emphasizing health equity in a telehealth/mobile environment.*
*Please note that concepts or design ideas are not be accepted.
