Bringing the Hospital to the Home
The 2nd Annual IEEE SA Telehealth Tech Pitch Competition is a global startup competition for innovators addressing challenges in the telehealth domain. Drawing from the work of the IEEE SA Telehealth Start-Up Community, the competition will connect innovators with a network of investors, corporations, and mentors to help them raise capital, navigate healthcare market collaborations, and scale their world-changing startups.

Who Is Eligible?
The competition is open to all product or service submissions based on a new technology product or application designed or built by the submitter to address a patient or other stakeholder need for bringing the hospital to the home. Applicants can be individuals or teams from any country and fall into any of the following categories:
The submitted project proposal or product cannot violate any intellectual property rights, including but not limited to patents, copyrights, and trade secrets.

How are Entries Evaluated?
A highly diverse judging committee will evaluate competitors. Submissions will be judged based on quality, ability to satisfy the required criteria, and sustainable viability. Each application will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
