IEEE SENSORS ROUNDTABLE:
A SUMMARY WRAP-UP
Webinar
Thursday, 19 January 2023 | 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM ET
ABOUT THE WEBINAR
On September 14-15, IEEE held a Sensors Roundtable meeting in Austin, TX that was a great success with broad stakeholder input. Following that meeting, participants asked IEEE to present plans to work expeditiously on solutions that address challenges faced by the Sensors and IoT industries.
During this webinar, members of the Sensors Roundtable organizing committee will present attendees with recommendations from the meeting on cybersecurity, interoperability, architecture, data, protocols and the sustainability of IoT actuators and sensors.
IEEE will then discuss the next steps and proposed organizational structure to fulfill the Roundtable recommendations which may also have regulatory implications.
Webinar participants are encouraged to download the IEEE white paper that was developed as a result of the Sensors Roundtable meeting and highlights the Roundtable participants' recommendations.
Attendees are also encouraged to declare their interest in participating in the new sub-committees to be formed using the registration form.
