The Mobility & Transportation sector is among the leading global user segment of fossil fuels. Heightened concerns about “Environment & Sustainability” are the primary global drivers for “Low Carbon Mobility."
These concerns have therefore advanced the development & commercialization of E-Mobility, featuring many technologies & innovations in electric vehicles & mass transportation. Efforts are underway to develop electric aviation as well.
The belief that societal adoption of e-mobility must be accelerated is now generally well accepted. For this has to happen a variety of socio-economic-technological factors need to be better balanced with the needs of diverse markets & consumers.
The Electric Vehicle Industry is among the key stakeholders who have a major responsibility to enable this. In the urban context, it is also essential to align the E-Mobility aspects with the evolving Smart City agenda & Charging Infrastructure/Networks.
From an eco-system perspective, it is also important that Standards, Policy & Regulatory Frameworks are evolved & structured to facilitate desired outcomes.
This panel shall provide key insights into the E-Mobility EcoSystem, looking ahead.
