AGENDA
Day 1: Digital Identity and Identity Management Systems for IoT - CDAC
Day 1 will be dedicated to Digital Identity and Identity Management Systems for IoT, featuring advanced discussions on global digital infrastructure. With a special focus on C-DAC’s IoT Sandbox, an advanced environment for testing IoT systems, attendees will gain hands-on exposure to pioneering work in IoT device identity codification. The IoT Sandbox enables researchers and developers to test smart devices for conformance, interoperability, quality of service (QoS), and resilience in a secure, isolated setting. This innovation is crucial for projects like the National Smart City Mission, helping establish authenticated, unique identities for IoT devices and supporting the life cycle management of these identities.
Day 2: Dignity, Inclusion, Identity, Trust, and Agency - IEEE
Day 2 will be dedicated to the vital principles of DIITA (Dignity, Inclusion, Identity, Trust, Agency) program coordinated under the IEEE Standards Association (IEEE SA), works through a multi stakeholder approach, bringing together industry leaders, technologists, innovators, policy makers, academics, and civil society to address the balancing of technological advancements with human dignity, inclusivity, privacy, trust, and user control. The program recognizes the profound impact that digital and emerging technologies, such as AI, IOT, Blockchain, and Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), have on society, and it aims to create standards, policies, and frameworks that safeguard these values.
